1. Where is Busselton Electric Bike Hire located?

We are conveniently located inside Revolution E-Bikes, at 65C Strelly St Busselton, making it easy for you to collect your e-bike and get riding straight away.


2. How do I book an electric bike?

Bookings can be made online at busseltonebikehire.com.au or directly in-store at Revolution E-Bikes. To avoid disappointment, Online bookings are recommended, especially during weekends and holiday seasons.


3. What are the hire rates?

Our pricing is:

  • $115 for 24 hours (full day) - Minimum hire period.
  • Multi-day discounts available (up to 31 days).

4. Is there a security deposit?

Yes, a $200 refundable security deposit is required per bike. This can be paid via credit/debit card and is refunded once the bike is returned in good condition.


5. What is included in the hire?

Each hire includes:

  • A quality Revolution E-Bike
  • Helmet (compulsory in WA)
  • Lock for bike security
  • Charger for multi-day hires

6. Do I need to be experienced to ride an e-bike?

No! Our e-bikes are designed for all levels of riders. If you can ride a standard bike, you’ll be comfortable on our e-bikes. Busselton and surrounds are quite flat, so you won’t have any hills to conquer. We also provide a quick orientation before you set off.


7. What is the minimum age for hiring?

Riders must be 16 years or older to ride our electric bikes in accordance with WA law.


8. Do I need to wear a helmet?

Yes. By law in Western Australia, helmets are compulsory for all cyclists. Helmets are provided free of charge with every hire.


9. What happens if I get a flat tyre or mechanical issue?

Our e-bikes are well-maintained by our trained mechanics. All of the e-bikes have puncture resistant sealant in the tyres to avoid small punctures. However, try not to ride over broken glass or large objects to avoid large punctures. In the rare event of an issue, we provide on-call support and can arrange roadside assistance for a fee of $80.


10. Can I take the bike on trails or the beach?

Our bikes are suitable for paved paths, cycleways, and light off-road trails. They are not permitted on sand or in saltwater conditions, as this causes damage. Please ask us if unsure about your planned route.


11. What is your cancellation policy?

  • More than 48 hours’ notice – Full refund
  • 24–48 hours’ notice – 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show – No refund
    Cancellations due to extreme weather may be rescheduled at no extra cost.

12. Do you offer group bookings?

Yes. We cater to families, corporate groups, and events. Group discounts are available—please contact us directly for details.

14. Is there a weight limit on the E-Bikes?

Yes, all our Revolution e-bikes are rated to take a payload of 120kg’s.


15. How fast can I ride on the Hire E-bikes?

All of the E-bikes are speed limited to 25kmh to comply with WA laws.


16. What happens if I damage the Hire E-bike or Accessories?

Our terms and conditions, which you acknowledge when you pay for the hire e-bike, state that you are liable for the safe return of the e-bike. Should you damage the e-bike or accessories the amount to repair or make good will be deducted from the security deposit.


17. What happens if the Hire E-Bike is stolen?

Always lock the e-bike with the lock provided when not in use, if the e-bike is stolen you are not covered for theft and will be liable for the full replacement value of the e-bike and associated accessories. You must report any theft immediately to the police and to Busselton Electric Bike Hire.

18. Can I transport the e-bike by vehicle to another destination?

No, the e-bikes cannot be taken out of the Busselton area.
